Justin Bieber Never Say Never 3-D

9/10 E.M.
8/10 C.E.
8/10 3-D

Oh Lord how I so desperately wanted to hate this movie. Sadly in the end I wound up a 21 year old male with a mild case of Bieber fever. If there is one thing this movie does incredibly well is spew it's own propaganda/agenda with the best spin possible. Seriously this is brain washing at it's finest and thus considering how well it accomplishes it also really good film making.

The movie sucks you in with well loved Youtube clips that many are familiar with and then slowly yet surely makes us love this man child. Highlighting points such as his religion (add two points to Christian crowd), dedication to fans (add five points to fans), pain he goes through (two points to audience) and little town boy into huge phenomenon (add underdog points) it all adds up along with everything else to one thing- great and I mean great marketing. Portray anyone in their best lighting possible and appease/compliment those who already love that person you are guarantee success. They of course gloss over or ignore completely the problem of his negligent father, how unhealthy some of his fan's obsessions are (I mean come on quit crying you little girls) and I'm sure other things I missed in the razzle dazzle.

The 3-D of the movie is actually pretty good giving us some parts that are obviously made to show case the 3-D of the movie. It helps to draw the audience in as well doing a great job especially if the theater volume is loud enough of making you feel like you're at one of the concerts crazy little girls and all. The music if you haven't heard it is obviously great to girls and the music you hate to love if you're a guy. Also on the point of music it must be pointed out how clearly talented Justin is a fact undeniable as well as how charismatic he is/ how well he puts on a show. All these factors come together to put on a truly great show that is bound to make you leave the theater with Bieber fever.
